PRESS RELEASE FOR CRIME SOLVERS CASE APRIL 21ST, 2014

CALVERT COUNTY CRIME SOLVERS’ CASE OF THE WEEK

Calvert County Crime Solvers and the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the woman seen leaving the Prince Frederick Office Depot store with a stolen Dell Inspiron laptop.

DFC A. Locke responded to the Office Depot in Prince Frederick for a theft that had just occurred on April 16 at 8:10 p.m.  A woman, described by witnesses as white, about five feet three inches tall, 140-150 pounds, with dark, frizzy hair pulled into a ponytail, fled the store with a Dell Inspiron laptop valued at $550.  A store employee advised that the woman had come into the store and wanted to buy a laptop.  While the employee was conducting the sale transaction at the register, the woman suddenly grabbed the box and fled the store.  Witnesses outside the store stated they saw the woman run from the store with the box containing the laptop and get into an older model gray or green four door Honda.  The Honda was driven by a white male which then left the parking lot.  The woman was believed to be between the ages of thirty and forty and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark blue jeans.
