On Monday April
21st, Sheriff Mike Evans paid a visit to the HELP Association in Owings to once
again say thank you. For the second year
in a row, the volunteers of the HELP Association awarded grant funding to the
Sheriff's Office. This year's award went
towards the purchase of much needed computer replacements within the Sheriff's
Office. Sheriff Evans thanked HELP President Norma Houston, (pictured with
Sheriff Evans), and the rest of the volunteers present at their monthly
meeting. "I am grateful for the opportunity the HELP Association provided
and pleased to know I have yet another committed partner who supports me in
keeping Calvert County a safer community." -Sheriff Mike Evans.
